1950: All About Eve stars Bette Davis and Anne Baxter. Unlike some others of her early career, noteworthy only for her bit parts, All About Eve is worth remembering for all the right reasons. The American Film Institute placed it as number 16 on the 100 Best American Films list in 1998. You can read the films summary here, if you are not familiar with it. Marilyn, who played Miss Caswell (and was still relatively unknown at the time), earned $500 a week, equivalent to $4300 today. Not bad, considering how young and fresh her career was at the time!
