Scenes were filmed showing Charlotte Vale at the hairdresser’s with Lisa, as well as them shopping together. During the editing process, however, producer Hal Wallis decided to cut these scenes and save the audience’s first glimpse of Charlotte’s new look for when she boards the ship.

Bette Davis on the set of what I assume to be the 1964 film “Dead Ringer,” judging by that distinctive hairstyle. The movie was directed by her former “Now, Voyager” co-star, Paul Henreid. This is Davis’s second time playing a set of twins, she had a dual role earlier in the 1946 film, “A Stolen Life.”

My Favorite Human:  Bette Davis

“I have been uncompromising, peppery, intractable, monomaniacal, tactless, volatile, and ofttimes disagreeable… I suppose I’m larger than life.”
